BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Revivalist Ministries World Outreach is a vision/divine mandate given to Prophet Oluseyi Modebola Abraham in 1999 and was established as a non-denominational ministry 30th of April, year 2000. It is not a denomination and will never transform into one now or in the future as we have been instructed by God to remain non denominational till we see Him in glory.
We have been called by God to unite the body of Christ in love and righteousness and prepare the saints for the rapture (John 11:52b). By the grace and mercy of God, this ministry has marked twenty two years of existence as a non-denominational ministry. We have branches in Africa, United Kingdom, USA and Australia. Our International Headquarters is in Nigeria.
OUR VISION
We have been called by God as a non-denominational ministry to unite the body of Christ in love and righteousness and prepare the saints for the rapture. John 11:52b: “…but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.”
OUR MISSION
1. To bring revival to all nations through the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. To bring total deliverance and restoration to the body of Christ in order to serve God as He expects and live heaven on earth.
3. To prepare, equip and train workers for mission work with the aim of propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ.
4. To organize programs, retreats, crusades, seminars and workshops that aim at enlarging the kingdom of God on earth and preparing the saints for the rapture.
5. To work with other groups – Christian, government, international agencies with the aim of reaching out to the poor, needy and the less privileged with the aim of alleviating their suffering and poverty through welfare programs.
6. To provide education centers and institutions, libraries, resource centers, human development and skill acquisition centers.
OUR TENETS OF FAITH
1. We believe in one uncreated God, Creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the Divine Trinity – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – Matt. 3:16-17.
2. We believe that the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In it we find the complete revelation of God’s will for man, the divine, final and inherent authority for all Christian faith and life – II Tim. 3:10-17, II Peter 1:21; John 17:17; Ps. 119:105.
3. We believe in the true divinity and true humanity of Jesus Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate – Matt. 1:18-25, Is 9:6, John 1:1-14, Isaiah 53:4-11.
4. We believe in true repentance – Isaiah 55:7, Acts 3:19.
5. We preach and believe in genuine salvation and justification as an act to receive forgiveness from sin – Acts 13:39; Rom. 3:25-26; Rom. 5:1.
6. We teach, believe and practice holiness and sanctification – John 17:15-17, Heb. 2:11; 12:14, I Thess. 4:3.
7. We believe in the power of prayer and fasting – Col. 4:2; I Thess. 5:17-18; I Cor. 7:5; Luke 18:1
8. We teach and believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit – John 14:16, Acts 1:5-8.
9. We believe and teach water baptism by immersion – Matt. 3:11-16, Acts 8:35-39.
10. We believe in restitution as a sign of true repentance. This is payment for what is damaged. Whatever cannot give us a clear conscience before man and God should be restituted without delay – Lev. 6:1-7, Luke 19:8, Acts 24:16.
11. We believe in the second coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ to rapture the awaiting saints and to execute judgment upon the ungodly and reign on earth – Matt. 24:30-31, 40-44, I Thess.4:15-17,II Thess. 1:7-10, Rev. 19:19-21.
12. We believe in the great tribulation and Christ’s millennium reign – Isaiah 26:20-21; Mark 13:19
13. We believe in the great white throne judgment – Rev. 20:11-15.
14. We believe in the new heaven and the new earth – II Peter 3:12-13.
15. We believe in eternal life and eternal punishment – Matt. 25:41-46, Luke 16:22-28.
16. We believe in divine healing – Isaiah 53:4-5, James 5:14-16.
17. We believe in the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) – Matt. 26:26-29, I Cor. 11:24-30.
18. We believe in Marriage as a Holy Matrimony; an institution established by God – Heb. 13:4, Romans 7:1-3.
19. We believe in God’s kind of provision and prosperity for His children – Phil. 4:19, III John 2.
20. We believe in all spiritual gifts and their usage – I Cor. 12:1-11, 28-31.
21. We believe in child dedication unto the Lord – I Sam. 1:22, Matt. 19:13-15.
22. We believe in the payment of tithe in the house of God – Malachi 3:10-12.
23. We believe in the five fold ministry – Ephesians 4:10-14.
24. We believe in the fruit of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-23.
25. We believe in the unity of the body of Christ – John 11:52b, Amos 3:3.
